I agree that both are good. I have a Boom in my kitchen and a Radio in my bedroom. I like the smaller size of the radio for my bedroom, and the sound is quite good for the size. I would think for a nursery this would be a good choice. I can't wait for the battery option for mine, though may not be a need in your case. As noted, they have been sold at $149 on sale, and that's hard to beat. I also like the LCD display - I find it a bit "softer" than the Boom's green display.
