+1 Both sound incredible for their size, truly. My suggestions to family & friends when they ask "which is better": Boom: louder volumes and/or larger room Radio: lower volumes and/or smaller rooms I didn't do a truly scientific audio quality blind ABX, but I did have both units directly in front of me (14 feet away) for several days and switched between them. At lower volumes I honestly could not tell them apart (and I'd bet few could).
