I have a similar problem. When my PC that is running SqueezeCenter goes to sleep, my Squeezebox Radio loses the connection and won't play any music. I have to wake up my PC in order to get the connection back.
At other times the Radio seems to connect and play but there is no sound (other than sounds from button presses). I need to unplug the radio and re-plug it back in to get it working. I'm a big fan of the Duet but this Radio seems incredibly buggy.
