@ralphy noted an update to wpa_supplicant, here: https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?111663-Community-Build-Radio-Firmware&p=970771&viewfull=1#post970771. Might that be implicated ? I've found the stock firmware to be quiet stable as regards networking.
