Hey

I have been asked why I made the rawstudio-daily package for Ubuntu (our
PPA at Launchpad) the way I did. Well, the short answer were that I
wanted to allow a user to have both the regular Rawstudio package and
the daily package installed (as you cannot base your work on the daily
being usable all the time - new code that breaks something temporary and
errors). This has been more or less a hell to maintain, so I'm in for a
change if people want it?

My suggestion is to build the rawstudio-daily package just the way we
would make the regular package...

I don't know how to handle versioning of the package when it's the same
package name. Currently we have these two ways:

Version: 3521+273-0ubuntu1~lucid0 (An older of our own Launchpad packages)
Version: 1.2-5 (Ubuntu 10.04 package)

My guess would be that a user won't be able to install a stable release
after having a daily package installed (unless they remove it or force
downgrade or something)...any comments on all this?

/Anders
