Dennis,

 

I'd say it is unusual for corruption to occur with a user on the server
desktop, assuming the database files reside locally on that server.  In this
case I'd look at how the server is tuned - if too few resources are
dedicated to applications as opposed to file/network services, you might see
troubles.

 

If the files reside remotely from the server in question, then by all means
take a long, hard look at the network components.

One of our users with RBase running on Citrix- Remote desktop, has periodic
data base corruption. Usually index file 3 (occasionally file 2) which
usually indicates a network speed issue and unable to synchronize the data
base. But, since each user is actually a session on the server, shouldn't it
be faster? Just printer, keyboard/mouse, and screen forms sent to/from the
remote PC?
