Bob –

Once the remote computer has the printer drivers installed for your local
printer, then edit the Remote Desktop connection settings / Local Resources
and under “Local devices and resources”, be sure to check “Printers”.

I am sending to the screen first. But still cannot see the local printers
on the selection box. I tried to see them through explorer - no luck. I
have a USB hooked up, maybe they are on LPT1 or something.

Bob didn't mention how he's printing. If you go to the screen,
then can the user select their printer and print from there? Is it
only if you specify a printer using the Printer_name option? If
you're using the latter, I suggest that you print everything to the
screen and let the user print it himself. I would imagine that's
more foolproof, and it's the method I always use anyway.

Frank,
I do not use this setup at all, but somewhere back in the recesses of the
folds of remaining grey matter I still have, I recall that the Printer Name
has to match on both ends as well.. Can you verify that?
