DB on Server access from workstation running Vipre. I won't be very good at
providing details at this point, just that I suffered with it long enough to
know that when Vipre was turned off, the issues disappeared, so.... time to
move on. ;-)

: Mike,
:
: We're using Vipre Business in our LAN and have excluded scanning of r:base
: related files, and have not seen any (at least directly) issues with both
: products.
:
: However, we do have occasional issues arise with app sessions crashing,
: forms "freezing", etc... With scanning set after hours, can't draw a
: correlation.
:
: So, was interested in your experience in past regarding Vipre - was this
on
: a single PC, or, within a LAN?
:
: Thank you,
: Brad Davidson

:
: I abandoned Vipre two years ago because of it's drag on RBase
: (inconsistantly BTW). I just gave up and used MS Essentials without any
: problems to date.

:: Ok.
::
::
:: I'm still having challenges with the security settings.
::
:: Where are they in Windows 7? I can see that I have windows security
::
:: and Vipre running and it is just causing me grief.
