Javier,
Nothing specific. But an observation is when I plug in a USB drive, I get the message from Vipre "Do you want to scan for viruses" but then I also get a message from Windows asking "Do you want to scan for viruses". So I think I'm double covered and can't figure out how to disable windows. I also use Vipre and I have not noticed any problems; although my experience is based on my local computers running Win7-Pro, Win XP-Pro and Win Vista. The only time I see a slowdown is when the daily scan takes place; this is why is scheduled for 4:00 AM. Have you added a list of extensions you want Vipre to ignore? This is pretty much the first thing I check (regardless of antivirus) when clients are having problems with the system slowing down. We are using the latest Vipre Antivirus 2013, version 6.9.5449. I'm still having challenges with the security settings. Where are they in Windows 7? I can see that I have windows security and Vipre running and it is just causing me grief. Jan
