G'Day Eric,

We have the ZIP RETURN (I won't even give it the name fix as it's not a fix nore a patch but rather a joke). It only works when RBase doesn't chow the entire pool. Sometimes RBase behaves and stops it's memory eating, but sometimes the program continues onward until all the memory is completely gone and the app crashes. ZIP RETURN doesn't do anything for this because the app never has a chance to execute that line of code.
Feel your pain.

I don't know if you are running a cursor or not.
If you are, here is a technique I was shown that
has helped reduce problems on loops for me.

If this does not help, I would be happy to look
at the code to see if I can spot something.

DECLARE c1CursorName CURSOR FOR SELECT +
Col1Name,Col2Name,Col3Name,Col4Name, +
Col5Name,Col6Name +
FROM TableName +
WHERE Col1Name = .vVarValue +
ORDER BY Col1Name
OPEN c1CursorName

LABEL LBegCursorName
FETCH c1CursorName INTO +
vCol1Name IND vi1, +
vCol2Name IND vi2, +
vCol3Name IND vi3, +
vCol4Name IND vi4, +
vCol5Name IND vi5, +
vCol6Name IND vi6
IF SQLCODE = 100 THEN
GOTO LEndCursorName
ENDIF
-- Insert code here

GOTO LBegCursorName

LABEL LEndCursorName
DROP CURSOR c1CursorName
