Sorry that I was fast in my reply but wanted to tell you about the file size
problem with the load.
I used to load over 100,000 rows using load and the way I HAD TO do it was
to break them down into 25,000 blocks.  I used Ultra Edit for that but you
can use anything.

I am sending you some code that was used at least 100 times so that you can
see the format.
