Those are in part, at least for me, some of the reasons for having the
little SoCal Riv. group rides.   Sure it's fun (alot) meeting the folks on
the other side of the computer monitor, but it's advocacy as well.  The
rides are fun, entertaining, informative, mellow and avoid being technology
driven.  Just guys (sorry, but so far it's a sausgefest) out enjoying the
day.

Everytime we're out, people can't help but notice we're just a little bit
different.  It's wishful thinking, but maybe someone (cager, pedistrian,
cyclist) will consider hopping on a bike and going for a spin, or taking
their existing bike on a dirt trail, or wearing wool.  That would be kinda'
cool if it happens.

If not, I'm still having fun!

Hope to see some of you in San Diego this August!
