Ken, you need to quit being cynical about Agents.....Patrick is correct, there are good ones and bad ones. If you have any doubts about your agent or the carrier, its not too smart to have your HOME much less your bicycle insured with them. Its not hard to find reputable agents and good insurance carriers. As mentioned they dont want to be sued under thier E and O coverage. So if this is how you feel about your agent, you need to go shopping today for a good agent and carrier. Also take pictures of your Riv or whatever you ride. Keep a copy of the bill of sale from RIV, and the adjuster shouldnt give you grief.
