Thanks for the candid C17/-19 comments, especially from a shop owner.  I 
guess if you are happy with a B17, then don't change.  When the tensioning 
bolt is maxed out get a new one.

The C17/-19 appeal seemed to be:
*  It should last a very long time as it should not stretch.
*  It is not affected by rain, like a leather saddle
