They feel fine on the road - I guess I'm running them at a slightly higher psi than I usually run my Compass tires - not squirrelly or floppy taking hard corners. Do you think it's far out of range of what mountain bikers used to ride on? FWIW these Open Pros have been shod with 32's and 35's for a few years with no issue and these Compass tires are measuring close to 40mm.
