Sugino cranks and those fiddly, hard to tighten, hard to loosen chainring bolts. I’m swapping chainrings to play with fixed gear inches (loving 71” after fifty miles of riding) and range possible between high and low gears. I lube things well with Paul grease.
Ideas for making this job easier? Ideas for tightening chainring bolts and still being able to get them apart? I’m wondering if White Industries Square Taper Road Cranks might be the way to go when it’s time to replace my cranks. Experience with them?
