Hey Reid! Simplest answer. Yes! Ride till you can’t, walk till you can. You’ll
love it!

More detailed answer: what’s your gearing? My QB does great with a dingle 71”
high and 57” low here in the Colorado Rockies on 38mm Compass Steilacooms. I
could gear higher and lower by 10+ inches and be fine, just walking more or
going slower downhill. You may find trails steeper than some here, but nothing
longer or at a higher altitude. Grin. Take the simple bike and enjoy the ride
and the area without worrying about gears. Poke around here for photographic
and anecdotal evidence: https://thegrid.ai/withabandon/

So, not local to LA, but considered by many to be loco because I’m happy riding
fixed anywhere. Grin.

With abandon,
Patrick
