Hey Patch,

I pinched the Zeppelin* fender for a couple reasons (lower run of chain 
coverage, and the ability to wheelie the bike on and off transit), but you can 
tip-mount it, too. That would maximize clearance at the chainstays. Running the 
axle further back (one link more) would put the widest part of the tire behind 
the edges of the fender. 

I’ve used SKS and QRs, but if I wrecked these fenders, I’d buy another set. I’m 
happy with 38s for fendered riding.
