It was 101 or so when I left for a church building committee meeting at 5:30 pm, wearing a nice merino Sugino jersey. Humidity was well below 10%, probably close to 5%.
Soft merino, even if not particularly thin, works very well in such hot, dry climates; as comfortable as the synthetics I have, though I daresay these would be more comfortable when the humidity got much above 20%.
