That’s an interesting point. Of course, MUSA frames may start up again. But 
like you say -equivalent model at equivalent build quality...

Rivendell switch in production made me think of the Fender guitar production 
wars that used to be.
The battle raged for years about MUSAFender guitars vs. FenderJapan models and 
MUSAFender prices went up  and stayed high til this day. Not just vintage 
either. Now FenderJapan is done with and the non-MUSA models are made in 
China/Korea/Indonesia/Mexico. The USA models are still retaining their 
extremely high value and rising.

Not the same industry/marketplace at all but an interesting parallel to ponder 
how it will shake out in the bike industry.
