I think the problem Jones perceives with Ergons (this is a guess) applies to all 130mm grips: they're not long enough for the Loop design. The idea behind the long grips is you get the whole use of the bar, not just the ends. I love Ergons but agree with him that they're limited on his bar, although wrapping bar tape inside of them would help.
