Garth, thank you for confirming the differences I suspected! I did order a new 
stem; I think it’s a Nitto Technomic 90 mm, and I’m really hoping that brings 
the bars sufficiently closer. I think the rest of the bike geometry will be 
fine, or at least I’ll make myself decide that it is. It’s a beautiful bike. 

I am very curious why Grant decided to change the geometry. I thought the 
Clementine was perfect, though maybe a bit stout. Maybe someone on here knows. 
I do think the old geometry was better for women, as we tend to be longer in 
the legs and shorter in the torso (definitely true of me). I miss seeing 
Clementine on the frame, too.
