Good for you, Jim, especially as you make even me look young (just turning 65). But really, cycling **statistically** is not that dangerous, especially for experienced, cautious, adult cyclists. And of course, adding in the benefits to health from regular, gentle exercise, compared to 12 hours a day in a barcalounger, it's practically a sin not to bicycle.
