Leah, I think Ohio has a terrific trail system. Im sure you'll enjoy your future cycling adventures there. The TOSRV ride that George mentioned changed formats and is now a "Hub and Spoke" type two day ride out of Chillicothe. It's well supported too. I've ridden the original 2 day 200 miler a few times and need to sign up for this one soon. My wife and I enjoy the Cayuhoga Park Trail. We'll stay on the northern end, park at the Train Station and ride as far as we feel like, and then take the train back...or vice versa. Camping available along the trail is limited.
My group of riding buddies will be on the OTET in mid September. Last year on the C&O/GAP, we were a day or so behind you. You rode in the rain and we rode in the slop! Brian.
