There is a specific Shimano 600 freewheel tool for this (park no longer make it, and neither do shimano), Bicycle Research still make a tool, and i'm linking it here just so it's in the archives. http://www.bicycletool.com/shimanoduraace600reginafreewheelremover.aspx
