Derek, I didn't mean to cast doubt that you'd gotten your vehicles at Walmart. About four years ago, a friend of mine picked up one of those 1/9th scale Abrams for 20 bucks!
I found a page once by a guy who formed his own military tread tires in 1/6th scale. I'll see if I can find it again.
