Not to mention the four cells together only weigh 3 lbs. Cost wise, the Sealed Lead Acid(SLAs, aka AGMs) batteries are the cheapest per amp hour. LiFEPO4 (or LiFE for short) cells are a most expensive and light weight per amp hour. IMO, LiFE cells are the way to go if a person can afford the initial cost. They have a life cycle of 2000 to 5000 charge/discharge cycles which is about 2 - 4 times greater than an SLA. So in the end, the costs even out due to having to replace the SLAs more often than LiFEs in the long run, plus a person would gain all the benifits LiFE cells offer such as flat voltage discharge curves and lighter weight per amp hour. I made the switch to LiFE in all of my combat ships last year. It just follows that the tank currently under construction will have LiFE cells. :) Mike
