I assume your institution does not serve English speaking children. Yes, there have been repeated complaints about Geronimo Chilton items being scattered from A to Z. Some libraries use him as main entry; some adopt nonstandard Cuttering; and some just put up with the complaints. Entering and Cuttering under the stated author is the standard way of description and call number assignment. We started entering and Cuttering as Twain rather than Clemens decades ago. To do otherwise with Geronimo Chilton is a departure from standard practice which should end. If RDA ends this silly exception, great. But the problem could have dealt with more easily and expeditiously by accepting Geronimo Chilton as the pseudonym it is. __ __ J.
