I occasionally read the proposed revision. According to the document, a
jacket will be added to preferred sources of information for resources
consisting of pages, leaves, sheets, or cards.

The change results in a revision of the second paragraph of *2.3.1.1 *as
suggested:* *

*More than** **one title may appear in sources of information (such as on a
title page, title frame; as a caption title, running title; on a cover,
spine; on a title bar), on a jacket, sleeve, container, etc., or in
material accompanying the resource*.

I try to understand the sentence. Does it collocate “sources of
information”, and “a jacket, sleeve, container, etc., or material
accompanying the resources”? If following 2.2, “ a jacket, sleeve …” is
also included in sources of information, although they are other sources of
information. So, why we separate them? Also, is the change for a jacket as
a part of resource itself clearly reflected in the sentence?

The following is the current paragraph. It indicates that “a jacket,
sleeve…” is not a part of the resource itself. It seems to be more logical.

*2.3.1.1** **More than one title may appear in the resource itself (e.g.,
on a title page, title frame; as a caption title, running title; on a
cover, spine; on a title bar), on a jacket, sleeve, container, etc., or in
material accompanying the resource.*

Is my understanding correct?

Thank you.
