Is there an existing feature request to add window buffering to the RB
framework? There could be a property which turns the feature on and off, and
it would only need to be implemented on Windows and Linux.
I'm not sure if this deals with the issue you're discussing, but
there's a method to lock and unlock redraw on a Win32 window in Aaron
Ballman's Windows Functionality Suite. I recently added that to a
window and I remember that it improved the problem I was encountering
a great deal, but I don't remember what the problem was.
