Right, but I think the thought here is to, in effect, decouple the
=20
List() from the ListBox as with VisualBasic and XCode. The Rb
ListBox =20=
is somewhat constrained by the requirement to both store and
display =20
content. I believe that KemTekinay offers a custom class which =20
provides this capability in Rb.
It's an extra layer and therefore is extra time unless your data
and code already fits the model.
It would be fine to offer a subclass of ListBox which works this
way, but I think it's a mistake in any framework to not have a list
widget which can just take some strings and display them.
Probably the better way would be to have a listbox that displays
only, and a subclass of it that contains its own storage.
