It sounds like you are getting the same result that I am getting.  If  
you drag a picture that is a hyperlink, it does not work for you either.

No, the URL that is returned is the hyperlink's URL, not the URL to  
the picture itself.  I'm getting this URL as the text property of the  
DragItem - not that it does me any good.  There's still no way to get  
the picture that I can see.
