I'm using RB5.5.5 and it appears to ignore the fact that something was dropped on the canvas. Probably because I haven't told it the correct data type to allow.
I tried it in 2007r2 and it worked as you are seeing. This makes me ask these questions: 1) In drag and drop, what constitutes a Picture? Does it have to be a picture within the application or on the clipboard? 2) Since the Canvas isn't reacting to the dropped item, maybe I need to "Accept" a different type of data. Perhaps MacData? If so, how would I do that?
