I'm just collecting information.  It may be that if someone bought  
the standard version of RB, they wouldn't want to pay almost the same  
amount for a plugin.

That's the nature of business, though.  If people don't support a  
developer, how can the developer justify spending more time and  
resources on the product?  Over the past few days I've hard lots of  
the same example...  "What if a single developer is selling a product  
and is hit by a bus?  (ie: dies)"  Again, that's life/business.
