I think that this should be solved by having your code for the plugin 
available from escrow. I do this all the time when my apps are sold as 
the clients may feel the same way about applications being developed by 
a small software company.

But there is a few ways to get around this,

1- Software Escrow service,
2- Attorney with a power of attorney.

For most apps that I have seen developed with RB, their costs do not 
justify either, but some apps may be sold for much more then the cost of 
RB pro and may or may not merit an escrow service.

I will be getting Christians plugins because of the time that it will 
save me on deployment. Eventually, I will not have any plugins but our 
own. Thats just for security.
