Escrow would benefit all the plugin developers of RB. It would allow larger companies to be more trusting for any plugin or component developer.
Source: Absolutely, its not just about economy but also, allowing me to expand the plugin for my use. In the license you could easily stipulate that by getting the source you will not be competing for the same space. Hence you will not be creating competition but instead improving the pool.
