Either you're intentionally twisting my post, or you have trouble
reading.

Let me spell it out in short words for you:

* Info has a sucky UI.  I think everyone agrees on that.

* basename is not documented.  Yes, that sucks, and no amount of
  searching is going to find it.

* However, to find things which are documented, you can search by
  index or substring.  You don't have to flip through links for hours.

* You can't linearly page through the document with PAGE UP and PAGE
  DOWN, but you can with Space and Backspace.

In short, when you're trashing a program, get your facts straight.
Whining about the lack of features a program isn't lacking is useless
and ignorant.
