What is the current status of the contrib program. I haven't heard
anything from the mailing list in months.

There used to be a page that was easy to find that explained how to get
stuff submitted to the contrib directory, but I couldn't find the page
from the developers site, the sources site, or even www.beta.redhat.com.

I'm not disputing your claim though Bill. I think RedHat is very proactive
about getting developer import by making rawhide available and having a
public bugzilla. I would like to see the contrib program resurrected and
made into something akin to what debian has.
