What? Does WD actually send you used drives as replacements? Or do you
mean they send you the same size so they are technologically old?

I've had excellent luck with Maxtor. Twice I have had drives start to make a
noise and called Maxtor. Both times, they talked to me about the noise and
then cross-shipped newer (bigger) drives as replacements saying that they
didn't carry my drive's size anymore. Coolness.
If I'm buying a drive, it's a Maxtor every time!
