If it is not an internal one and you dont have a serial mouse then put it
on the port A, then make a link "ln -s /dev/cua0 /dev/modem" and then you
can run minicom as root so it can create a config file, and then it has to
show in the main window  some letter, try to type AT and if it respond OK
then is working, then type ATDTphonenumber and it will dial.
