Just a small question (cos I'm a newbie) isn't there a way you can modify the menus?

The 3rd result is titled "Editing GNOME2 Menus in Red Hat Linux 8.0". A decent google query can be a lot faster than asking a new question on a mailing list. Most questions have been asked before, and the answer is posted somewhere on the Web.
