While I agree that that some linux apps are well documented (mutt and
slrn are the first that came to my mind but Gnome certainly qualifies),
you have to admit they're the exception more than they are the rule.

The Gnome documentation is a good example of this, actually.
It has made leaps and bounds since the Gnome 1.x days, essentially
because Sun invested in usability reviews.
