That was the first thing I checked.  I mounted it on another RH system I have 
and checked it.  It looked exactly like i would expect.  It's like there is a 
bootstrap or something missing.  But, of course, as I said , I AM able to do 
the basic bootup.  The installation program just says "The Redhat Linux CD 
was not found on any of your drives".   (I thought Microsoft  was the only 
one who couldn't find itself------Take ot easy all.  I was just injecting a 
little humor)
