If this is just a guess, then don't try this. Whenever someone suggests --nodeps, he should give an explanation as why it would be safe to ignore the package dependencies. And whenever someone suggests --force, he should give an even better explanation, such as why it is necessary and whether the installed package will work and will not damage any other components and so on. --
