Help on swap spaces please

Hi
I have  mandrake 6.1 running on a multi drive system on which I nee dopt
pull out one drive
So far I have shifted  all the data and apps etc out of that drive
I have only the swap partiton left
Now, I have created a new swap partition on another drive in this box,
how do I tell Mandrake to use this new one
Do I simply edit /etc/fstab, or is there another file that needs editing
or  do I need to use swapon or something?
