Wrong!!! Until kernel 2.2.12 I had no support for my SiS Moderboard with a SiS video card which uses memory from the RAM. It only saw the first 64 Megs, and when I put the append option in lilo.conf, it didn't even start. 2.2.12 solve that problem. And 2.2.13 gave me support for my onboard sondcard.
