Firstly, I think that there are "so many" problems with this board simply because "so many" people have bought it. So more weird hardware (not quite PC100 RAM, old video cards, weird Ethernet cards, crummy heatsinks) problems crop up. FWIW, I had a HARD lockup problem until I got a new video card, the old S3V card would kill the system every time I tried more than 16 colors. Go figure.
