Hi all,

I've just redone my network with a switch instead of the coax cable and also
set up a new firewall machine with 2 NICs in it to prepare for ADSL.

The firewall local IP address is 192.168.0.1 but my servers are on real IP
address of the 203.46.4.192/255.255.255.224 network. So I need to tell the
firewall about the other network.

Using netconf I added the following into "Routing and Gateways", "routes to
alternate local nets"

Network Netmask Interface
203.46.4.192 255.255.255.224 eth0

What gets inserted into /etc/sysconfig/static-routes is:
any net 203.46.4.192 netmask 255.255.255.224 gw eth0

Now why is it when I reboot that the above route never gets added. I can't
find any errors in any logs, it just ignores the static route.

The funny thing is the old firewall (RH6.0) box did this fine but my new
firewall (RH6.2) doesn't do it.

Any ideas?
