One of the problems I ran into with my 6.2 install was things 
being partially installed, and it turned out being the partition 
sizes.  For some reason it didn't stop the install, it just skipped copying 
the files.  Increase the size of all of your partitions, or choose auto and 
see if that helps.  I know it helped me a ton.  Hope this helps.
