  Well, that blows that theory.  Maybe it's related to the
release(s) of X.  At least, that's where I'd go next.  Upgrade
that.  Of course, I'd likely get tired of it & see if
Enlightenment gives you this trouble.  Worth a shot in any case,
as E is really damn stable from 6.2 on in RH -- or so it seems to
me (though I prefer the release in 6.2).

  Sorry I can't really be of much help.  But I did want to let
you & others know that you're not hallucinating;-).
